NHRA edition compared to ws6?

which one is better? i see that the nhra editon doesnt have the ram air. or am i wrong. explain the qualities of both please.

well my friends dad has the only nhra trans am in waco texas and we have raced it a couple times against some ws6 ta's and they can't keep up. i don't know exactly what they have in them but its enough to beat a ws6.

According to Pontiac Historical services only 207 NHRA Firebirds were
built in 2000. Of that number only 110 were Trans Ams. The remaining
97 were Formulas.

BBS - Hurst Shifter (6-speed manual only)
P05 - 5-spoke cast aluminum chrome wheels

A total of 325 2002 Pontiac Trans Am Coupes were built with this option package


Doesn't sound like any performance mods, except for the gears on the auto.
How much were you beating that WS.6 by??

It says above that the NHRA T/A's came with Hurst shifters...but I test-drove an '02 WS6 that had a Hurst in it. Perhaps it wasn't stock, and I've never seen (nor heard, to be honest) of the NHRA versions, but I didn't see any other special badging than the normal WS6 one's.
