ahaha yea... i lost it. i dropped it and it disappeared. i tried cutting a new one but ended up slicing my thumb open. i might try again. to show the knife who's boss. lol.

Ouch, that sucks.. Its worse if u live on a carpeted house, trust me. Its a pain in the ass!

Nice. Looks like the flake in the rattle can didnt brake up fine enuff. OR was that the look you were going for?

i dunno... those were all mist coats. i had a Plastikote Silver base with i think Duplicolor Emerald Green. the green was a bit dark and i still wanted to let the silver show through so i just sprayed some mist coats over the silver. that's why it isn't very shiny, also.

yea. and polished it with Turtle Wax polish.

Nice build, what type of paint did you use for the engine?

ummm... i don't remember exactly cuz i built this all last summer except for the body and some small details. i'm pretty sure it was all Testors enamels and MAYBE, just possibly, some Testors acrylics. interior was i think sprayed with flat black and then some custom mixed whit/gray enamel to get the color of the accents. that was back when i was trying to build the actual movie car.

Cool, you should try wetsanding it after you cleared it. Then compound and wax. That would have gotten you a mirrior like shine.
None the less, looks good. :smile:

i made the muffler out of drinking straws. i was looking for aluminum but didn't find the right sizes.

i don't have any sandpaper fine enough to wetsand a finished paintjob right now. oh well.
