please help

i am new to forum looking for some help wih a 95 se 2.5L duratec V6 running hot have replaced thermostat took it to the shop they checked water pump, radiator, and fans they say early stage of blown head gasket. looking for advice on using a sealant such as blue devil or something called liquid ice

I would have replaced the waterpump instead of just having them inspect it. The stock plastic impellars on the waterpumps are almost gauranteed to fail. Blown headgaskets on the contour V6 are very rare, so i doubt that it. If you turn on the heat, does hot air come out?
