I'm almost were I want to be and on monday I will take the car to be painted but I still cant decide wheter to keep it white or go black. I want the brightest white if I go back white though. But if I go black it would look kinda like the night rider car....Need input

If those are the only two colors that you're considering, then I'd choose black, simply because white shows dirt too easily. Though, I think that color red on your hood would look really sweet. Not too often that you see a nice 3rd gen red camaro around here.

i was gonna suggest that red to, i think it will make the car stand out a lil bit but not to much. but in case you dont wanna take any color suggestions, out of white or black tho, go with black.

hell i would stick with white, if u think white shows dirt easier than black....wrong. black cars have to be the hardest to keep clean, and not to mention everything shows up on it. it kinnda makes the car look brown and white may show the dirt but for some weird reason u can just wipe it off and it doesnt look as bad as black. not to mention in the summer black cars get hot as hell.

I agree with philly, black cars are the worst in terms of maintaining apprearance. can never go wrong with red ;)

I'd say if you went white, maybe a pearl type?

red is nice, but it is the most expensive basic color, i think black, but the car will show all little dents. btw wouldnt black show more dirt then white

Have to disagree with ya there, even an hour after my car dries for awashing you can see the dust building up on it.

And if ti rains and your parked under a tree, errg.

I've got a white 92 and after driving it down a dusty gravel road that i've gotta take to work I can hardly see any dust or dirt on it. It's also hard to beat the looks of a white third gen with tinted windows.

Definitely black will show more dirt & dust than white, go with the white pearl.

Black is the worst color to keep looking nice, period.

White pearl would be cool but expensive because unlike other colors you can not have a pearl or metallic mixed into white cause it will not show up. That means any pearl or metallic on white has to be done with a mid-coat. So material cost is doubled and some labor cost is added.

even at the paint store they will tell u that black cars collect dust. bad! and when it rains it leaves streaks, it sucks, but when its clean.....maaaan its clean.

Black cars can look the best one second and the worst the next

Look like knight rider? Sorry, but a camaro cannot look like knight rider. Go with white.

Yeah I have 20% tint all the way around so I know what you mean. I put the ralleys back on it and painted those black.

I've Had 2 black camaros 1 quasar blue 1 teal & 1 white.
I can tell you of all of these cars the white one was the coolest in the summer months and showed the least dirt.
The black ones were the sharpest looking when they were clean , but even the slightest bit of dirt dust or even a dew fall would wreck the appearance. Even a single finger print would stick out like a sore thumb. Not to mention black was hotter than hell in the summer, great in the winter though the snow and ice would melt off very fast

I would stay with white since it is the original color (my opinion)
