Can I ask why this was your first post on this forum or the relevance behind this odd question lol?

And I try to kill flys with rubberbands ever since I was young.

i put them in a straw and then melt both ends of the straw together w/ a lighter and then i shake the straw real hard to upset the trapped bug and then i smash it

Depends on what kind of insect it is, and whether I'm outside or not.

Spiders in the house- shoe
Spiders in the garage- broom
Bees- broom
other critters in the house- shoe
critters outside- I have a propane torch, I once torched a wolf spider(do a google on it) sucker burned a while before dying. resilient bugger he was.

However I can at the time. Sometimes I pour shampoo on them if they're in the bathroom. Liquid soap works too, any kind of spray, fire, i used a small fire exstingusher ( i spelt that wrong) shoe. Depends on if I'm bored or not...

I prefer the sadistic, maniacal way by taking a butter knife and cutting them up into peices. Then, I put them on the barbie, pour a little gasoline on em, and light em up. No evidence, nothing to cover up, and I can go on in life knowing there's one less bug I have to worry about. Case closed.

i chop them in half with a shovel, light them on fire, step on them, stomp and twist, pick them up with a paper towel/paper/tissue, smoosh them...but my favorite is chopping them in half

Depends on the bug, or, more precisely, on the size of the bug. There's a handy can of roach killer stuff for the roaches, and it smells like candy so I use that quite a bit.

Small bugs and mosquitos I just smoosh with whatever is available at the time - hand is a last resort as then you must wash off the bug juice.

Big big bugs, I run like hell.

There was a black widow spider in my friend's garage once - I sprayed it with brake cleaner (the nearest sprayable substance), and that seemed to do the trick.

Millipedes or centipedes I tend to direct onto a piece of paper, then carry the paper out the door and then direct them off the paper.

Technically that's not killing them :)

Depends on sizes etc.

Spiders I use a huge ass amount of tissues or paper towels, I hate spiders

Nats, mosquitoes etc, small flying insects, if they don't bother me or they go away, fine, but if they bother me, then I clap them with my hands or tissues if theyre in the house

Have not seen a milipede, have seen really small centipedes (FUGLY AND SCARY THINGS), most likely a whole roll of paper towels :lol2:

Harmless bugs, I spare their lives like Beetles, lightening bugs (LOVE CATCHING THOSE). Saved a black beetle from my pool, let it crawl around my hands, watched it dry and clean itself, it was pretty cute. then it was dry enough to fly away.

Bees, wasps.. I just run my damn ass off. Was a bee next in my ceiling, since my room was in the corner (this is before doing the Stucco job on my house) and part of the wood wasn't sealed to the attic. They made a hive about teh size of a shoe box out of the sheetrock ceiling and fiberglass insulation, we had to call the exterminater. This was over a month and a half period in the summer. They made this weird sound to, that's what brought it to my attention. It sounded like someone was scratching away at the ceiling.

Cicadas are fun to watch, don't do much about those, never found them in teh house either.

that sums it up for me.

Small ants, spiders, no bigger than a nail head, I jsut use my index finger because by the time i find a tissue or something, they're so small that I lose where they are

psh I don't kill bugs, unless they're threatening something (yeah right). they're there to serve a purpose, hell there's one crawling around on my monitor as i type this. I just put them outside, or ignore them altogether

Bees, wasps.. I just run my damn ass off.

Hahahaha that just reminded me of a good friend I had in high school - he was also horrified of bees and hornets and the like. One day, we were on his back porch, which, since the house was built on a hill, was essentially on the second floor (about 15 feet from the bottom of the porch to the ground below). This hornet got him cornered on the porch, so he vaulted the barbecue and jumped off the deck, breaking his leg upon landing! Must have hurt like hell but oh man it was hilarious

Bugs I find roaming around my house like Crickets or wasps I catch in the wash room... get fed to my fish.. they go crazy.. But I only get away with that when my girlfriend isn't around.. if she is, I hear whining about how cruel it is and the little buggers get put outside... except for wasps or hornets.. they die anyways.

Allergic to bees, so I run like hell.

Wasp's/Hornet's/anything else that stings - the nearest flammable liquid.

Spiders - depends on my mood. Lighter, torch, shoe, finger, chop em up, suffocate, freeze (favorite).

Really really depends on my mood.
