Noisy Brakes

I got my brakes done a month ago... or so. In the past two weeks or so I've noticed this really annoying noise. Well, besides the squeak that brakes make... usually happens when you are coming to a slow stop with light brake pressure with me. I tried using some Brakleen or whatever it is... didn't really help. Actually made things squeak'ier.

The other noise could be described like you have your E-brake on and your rolling slowly. The sound definately is audible to everyone outside the car but it sounds like it originates from the back left wheel... occasionally the front left wheel. Like a loud moaning noise. I checked things out but everything looked normal. I don't use the e-brake at all so it's never engaged so I don't know what it is. It makes this noise about once every five stops. My best guess would be the pads gripping on the rotors at a slow speed... so it moans like it's being dragged forcefully across the rotor surface when it's gripping.

I don't know if that made any sense there. But one more thing!

When I use my brakes, I usually don't start to slow down until I depress the pedal like an two or more inches... but even then I don't really slow down. I have to nearly ground the pedal to get some brake action going on. When I jam the brakes, I don't slow down as fast as I should with All-wheel Disc. I drove my GF's Stealth and she still has stock brakes (no big-brake or anything... no special pads) and you practically just have to rest your foot on the pedal and press just a tiny bit and you can feel yourself slowing down. Push the pedal down as far as I have to to just slow down, and you come to a abrupt stop. Do I have to bleed my brakes or anything? Need more fluid? It just doesn't feel right at all compared to her's.

Definantly bleed your brakes, and check the fluid level. I'd also take off the wheel in question and make sure there is clearance and the pads aren't rubbing. Could also be a slightly warped rotor.

As far as the squealing, I'd get some of that anti-squeal spray stuff from autozone. And just spray the caliper bolts, the ends of the pistons in the caliper, and the back (non-stopping side) of your pads. Make sure to keep that stuff off the rotors and fronts of the pads and out of your lungs (causes cancer...just like everything else nowadays)

Is it possible to have a warped rotor after a month? Because the rotors and pads are only about a month old. They look nice and even... at least to me. But, I guess it's possible.

Yeah it is possible...especially if they were semi-shoddy rotors to begin with and you drove them hard...or if your lug nuts weren't semi-equally torqued down

if you have a warped rotor, you should feel a vibration (most likely in the steering column/wheel) when braking.

Nope, no vibration. There was HORRIBLE vibration before I got the brakes done. Just squeaks and moans now.
