97 concorde a/c & fan controls won't turn off

My 97 Concorde a/c controls won't turn off. Does this mean that the whole dashboard has to be removed and new module/sensor/switch? or something has to be replaced. Any suggestions, pls?

do you have the Automatic Temperature Control feature? If you do, you could have a bad head unit, unfortunately, that's a common thing to go bad and let me tell you from personal experience, it's very pricey and hard to find. You're looking at $450, used if you can find one.
