Interior lights
Hi,
I just bought a used 94' Sentra XE yesterday. Just last night I noticed that the interior lights dont come on when turning on the headlights.
I have tried playing around w/ the dimmer knob. Also, I've been looking into the fuse box but I'm not sure which one it is. Some of my previous cars, it was linked to the cigarette lighter. But the cigarette light seems to be working.
Anyway, is this under the hood?
Thanks

You mean dash lights right? It should be tail lights/dash lights marked in the fuse box inside the car. It means your rear lights are not coming on either.

oh man! My rear tailights do come on. I guess I have an electric problem. I was hoping this would be a simple problem such as a fuse.
I'm pretty sure it's not the light bulb behind the dash cuz the stock radio doesnt lit up either.
any suggestions?

Does the radio change brightness? Even if it doesn't light up, it dims I think when you turn the lights on. You can see it do that in the day light.
I am pretty sure it is more than one bulb. One for each side at least.
If the radio doesn't dim, then it sounds like something is unplugged. If the lights are wired seperate from the dash wiring. That is your turn signals, and guages. If it isn't then yes you have some other electrical problem. You may check the dimmer swith, as that could be bad or unplugged.
