has anyone had any luck turning off the daytime run lights?
I saw something about unplugging the module but does this
effect anything else?
1996 Z71 104,900 miles.

unplug the fuse, it will kill them, but it will also kill your fog lights.

yep, pulled the fuse and it fixed it.

If the emergency brake pedal is not fully returned, the DRL may not work, as there is a small contact switch at the top of emergency brake pedal that controls DRL.

What fuse was it by any chance? Becuase mine didn't work when i bought the truck!

I think it was #15 it said DRL/FOG above it.

Edit: I just looked. and the fuse is good. They guy did put on a visor that lights up, is there like a kit to take off the drl? if so can you take it off?
