Buy a Haynes or Chilton's manual for your make, model, and year at Autozone. This will give you capacities such as oil and all other information for diagnosing and fixing problems.

I think it would be easier to get another dipstick from a junk yard. Other wise search online or get a manual.

I would go with trying to find an owners manual for that year of a truck or getting an oil dipstick from the junk yard from that exact size motor you have around the same year of truck has, that way theres no guessing of any kind.

I dont really think buying a manual would be the smartest thing to do as I am selling the truck really soon. Ive been searching online but cant find this information. I thiink its mostly because I dont know what to search for. Thanks for the help guys.
