Pepboys, autozone, checker. Pretty much most big name auto companys or you can go to a dealership and get one but Im sure they will rape you on the cost.

This is funny... I took mine off a few time to replace speakers and what not. I lost my crank and just bought a new one today. I was walking around the junk yard with the worker and he had one of those tools. He said it was "only a few bucks." How much that means, I dont know, but I think that tool is worth it. To get the crank off the first few times I used a screw driver. Yeah, it worked, but the tool is much faster/ easier and you dont run the risk of gnarling up your door panel. If you dont want to buy the tool, I would also think that if you went to any shop they would take off your cranks for free.

Yeah, thats pretty much what they call it but at most places you need to add in GM into the window crank removal tool. Last time I picked you up from pepboys it took 3 people to figure it out then I said GM and they looked like I just came up with the meaning of life for them.

It's almost impossible to see, but it's there... unless of course it somehow came off. If that's the case brake it off. I suggest getting one of those dentist type mirrors to see if you can find exactly where it is.

The two prongs with the green arrows pointing to them should be facing the same direction of the crank you grab ahold of to roll the window down. The area with the red arrow should be facing the side that is rounded on the crank. If you have a dental pick type animal slip it in behind the crank via the rounded off side and twist the pick so that it grabs ahold of the area that sticks away from the crank with the red arrow on it. PULL! It may take a few trys but it will go.

Nice illustration Psycho, ms paint, LOL! :)
If it's not comming off then there IS a clip there, between the panel and the crank. It's maybe as thick as a penny so it's not easy to see. Like Psycho said, the open end of the clip is lined up with the crank, so try using the tool parallel to the crank. KEEP TRYING! Once you figure out how to get one off the others will be easy using the tool.

you could always slide some rope down in the door panel and tie it off to say a freinds SUV get about 20-30 ft. of slack in the line and tell ur freind to gun it....somthing will give. i promise.

Not sure, but my advice would be to hit up a junk yard and snag a new one. I got mine and a couple other peices for $5.
