97 Maxima SE vs 2.7T A6

Hello Guys Well Today me and my bro Was going home. and at the way home under the train we were driving like accelerating alittel and we see Audi Coming Up Fast So We Nails it and we at 2nd gear doing like 40 then we go up to 60 and shift to 3rd and audi was still pulling from back of us and he passing us Very Slowly and then the cars ahead we stoped. he was at front and i see it sas A6 2.7T. My Bro Have 1997 nissan Maxima Se Manual With Gready Muffler Hi Flow Cats , Cold Air Intake , And Performans Clutch. After Race My Bro Sas He wasent Flooring It Fully. I was Thinkin Dose He Still Have A chance Against 2.7T From A 40mph Roll if he going to Floor it ? couse those 2.7t's Preaty quick !

Maximas may be quick, but it will be eaten by a 2.7T especially with the mods listed, which give a total of ...... 5whp

Get a 00VI, a Y pipe/B pipe, and cams then he might be able to hang on.
Get a 3.5 swap and you will destroy him.

those 2.7T's make a decent amount of power but they weigh almost 4000 lbs, the maxima's 1000 lbs lighter, and the audi will lose more power due to the AWD. i wouldn't be surprised if the maxima was able to take the audi from a roll, especially if it's 5 speed, their power to weight ratio's are about the same. it'd probably be a driver's race. from a dead stop i'd probably give it to the audi.

those 2.7T A6's are pretty damn quick for a big heavy car...I think the best times I've seen for them are high 5's in the 0-60, which would mean mid or low 14's in the 1/4...so yeah, not surprised with the outcome of this one.
