Another dumb question--battery light

My instrument cluster battery warning light comes on periodically when driving. Checked the tension of the alternator belt;it's good. Filled the battery fluid.

Any ideas?

well when the light comes on most of the time the belt broke. u said you checked it . i don't really know now, unless its a short or something

mine did that for like 2 months periodically. Next thing I know, I'm getting a new alternator...
