Water Pump Belt

My belt for my water pump just shredded tonight. I'm hoping that it is just the belt and not anything else. I had the water pump and the belt replaced about 3 years ago, so hopefully it is just the belt. Is this a difficult job? I can't seem to find any posted procedures. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks.

same thing happened to me
look here http://aurorah.proboards47.com/index.cgi?board=Gen&action=display&thread=1120597669
very easy replace and the belt is about $8
remove the bolts that hold the tensioner and its bracket. Now you can slip the belt past the water pump pully (tight fit). reinstall the tensioner keeping the belt off to one side. releave the pressure from the tensioner and slip the belt onto the idler pully.
DOUBLE CHECK TO MAKE SURE THAT THE BELT IS PROPERLY ON THE WATER PUMP PULLY

sorry - I didn't mean to yell
while you have the tensioner off be sure the water pump spins ok as well as the tensioner - one or the other may have caused the belt to go but on mine it was just an old belt.
