me and my boy were arguin about havin more power in the winter months. i think you do feel more of a pull and he thinks its all in my head. i tried explaining the way an intercooler works with the smaller air molecules and stuff make more power and due to the air being cooler in the winter i think we should feel a diff. He doesnt believe me. has any one else had the feelin???

its more like your running right if its hot enough a little loss from heat is doable
i dunno how highly modded you or he is but some cars can others don't Hondas adapt well normally I found while somthing like an LS1 will feel faster in say NOV then AUG. but then if your not stock depending whats done maybe.
oh and carbs in winter = teh booo

Would your keyboard be missing the "." key by any chance?

My friend's turbo'd saab definatly was faster in the colder weather. What I believe is that the intercooler and total system doesn't have to work as hard to produce the same temperature air when operating as it does in the summer. Cold particles = smaller particles = more particles shoved into the system (my take). Non-intercooled turbo'd setups definatly are more affected by weather though, and carbs definatly. My old rx-7 (1979) will not run well in the winter without proper carb tuning, and the same goes for summer.

Yeah, I've had the same conversation with one of my friends. And yeah, we agreed that in the winter on those cold mornings or nights, that our cars do feel a little bit more peppy; especially because of our cold air intakes ;).
