1996 z-71 transmission nightmare

I have a 1996 z-71 (350, 116,000 miles) that I bought from a guy that got the truck at an auction. One day I lost third gear, had the transmission rebuilt, and four days later the transmission burnt again. This time the pump went belly up. Had the pump changed, tranny rebuilt again. About 4 or 5 months later, one morning I got in the truck and was going to work when I hit about 35 mph, my truck started to hesitate as if I were running out of gas, or like hitting a rev limiter or something. I tried to push through it and caught the gears back at about 45 or so. Then I lost all the gears. When I turn the truck off then start it again, I get the transmission back. That lasted two days, gradually getting worst. Then the transmission burnt again, and the transmission mech says all the clutches burnt telling him it is running on low pressure. He says it is an electrical problem. He put it on his scanner and found no codes and I brought it to a mechanic shop and they could find no codes either. Now I took it to the dealer to get the problem fixed once and for all and they got my truck off of the tow truck and drove the thing and burnt the transmission again. I am hoping I am not the only person in this world to have this problem, lots of high time mechanics cant figure this one out, please help! Also this morning I found out about a bulletin on the transmission that runs a hot wire from the steering column or something like that to the transmission. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hope you havn't been paying for all the rebuilds. There is a retro kit that replaces the wiring harness in the trans that for all intents and purposes jumps a couple of the wires. Dealer should be able to pinpoint this.

No, so far it's been warrantied, but this is going to be the last rebuild covered under the warranty, so you can se why i'm so desperate to find something out before i drive it again!

We had an S-10 tranny that needed to be rebuilt three times in a month. Finally the shop installed a cooler in front of the radiator and bypassed the radiator cooler which took care of the problem. He was guessing something from the first failure was intermittantly plugging the built in cooler. Super honest shop, and no charge for the cooler or the extra rebuilds.
Several months later, I replaced the radiator because of leaking tanks, and I discovered the fins were blocked with weeds or straw pieces in the center where you couldn't see them while it was in the truck.
Turns out my wife drove through a dust storm that was generated by a farmer out discing his field. The stuff gets through the slightly wider fins of the A/C condensor and plugs the radiator.

wow, i know you had to be frustrated with that one, i have an electric fan on my radiator and am debating on removing it and putting the fan clutch back in. someone told me that my transmission could not be running as hot as it needs to, but i always thought temp mostly helps in performance like fuel mileage and such. cooler running transmission should last longer i would assume.
