99 Galant sterter replacement

Do I have to drop anything in order to replace the starter on my 99 Galant GTZ? I want to do it myself but haven't bothered to pick up a Haynes manual yet and really don't want to waste the money on one if it's too terribly difficult for a layperson to do.
