On a '92 Miata, would this cause the oil pressure guage to jump and decline when it idles. P.S. it idles bad, it revs up then it acts like it is going to die, then dies... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The idle problem could be related to
1-clogged air filter
2-clogged fuel filter/line
3-defective fuel pressure sensor/return
4-defective cam angle/crank angle sensor
5-defective air mass meter
6-defective spark plugs/plug wires
Most likely cause of the loping of your engine is number 4 and number 6 in combination. If this is the case, I have a cam angle sensor from one of my Miatas I am parting out. Email me and let me know---I'll help you out :)

ya that could be a number of things in cases like that I take it to the dealership or get an ECU error code reader but the ppl at the dealership would have more
experience with stuff like that.
