I was in florida last week and I've been in detroit for work the past 4 days, I returned last night to my G finally :-P They had a lot of work to do to the underbody, the car didn't look all that bad but I guess a truck hitting you at 30-40 does damage somewhere! lol.... The rear doors still aren't PERFECT.... But they work, no wind noise and passed the tons of water test - you really can't tell unless your picky as hell like me and you know the car was hit.... The trunk works flawlessly now, I was really surprised about that. It was dark so I haven't had a chance to look at the color yet to make sure its all good.... they let me keep the old rear bumper cover which looks just fine, so I have a nice spare :P I'll give a better report later today when I get to do some driving and good looking at the paint job......

Car was one week old and I got rearended.... Ready to take it to get it fixed and a rock breaks the windshield.....
What next????

If that bumper cover is in good shape I'd buy it from you if you want to sell it :)

good to hear your baby is back. :D man, I almost got rear ended this morning by this asshole in those cheeeeezy Altima's. damn, there was a bump (construction area) so I slowed down because I got 17x7's..anyway this asshole speeds up behind me to pass me ALMOST hitting my left rear. I just wot and got out of the way so he didn't hit, but my rear wheels didn't like it too much going over the bumps. nothing got bent or anything, but f^ those assholes man!!! slow down!!!

Really pleased to hear you have your car back....better luck this time !!!!
Reading though some of these forums its a shock to see how many cars get rear-ended.....you would think people would know by now not to follow so close
Anyway......happy motoring and enjoy your new ride

Thanks for the support... I am actually pleased beyond belief! I can't see a difference in color, they had to re-clear a lot of the car and you can't tell the difference there, the car looks great.... Only complaints are the doors being kind "uhhh" and I know they will never be right... I think I do have to take it back though as the driver's door handle is VERY hard to open at times.
