Does anybody know what this car may be worth ?

I never had a chance to look at this car. I have my doubts. W/O looking at it, what do the experts think it may be worth ?

Some details about the car would be handy...

If you're talkin about the vert, $850 isn't a bad price at all. especially if the engine is good, and the frame is. I'd jump on it :) fix it, and you can sell it for 3x what you paid for it.

Yes, I am talking about the vert. I know it needs a rear window replacement, has a few dents in the body, and does not run, due to the fuel problem. Like I said before, when it did run, it sounded good. Not sure of the mileage, shows 96K, but that could be 196K. To be honest, I am a little scared, because of the lack of information I am getting from the seller, and the little experience I have with cars. I have three reasons motivating me to purchase, 1) the price of fuel 2) the intrigue of a vert. 3) willingness to restore. I appreciate any wisdom you can pass on. Thanks !! :)

Well, be assured, whatever is wrong with it, will be cheap to fix. Maybe offer $700 since it's "complicated". Only thing to be worried about is the chassis. Make sure there's no frame rust. If there's none, the body alone is work $700.
