Both speakers on the door are blown. I tried to buy new ones but the don't fit correctly. The Dodge speakers has brackets and can not find new speakers that will even come close to the holes of the Dodge speakers. Can anyone tell me where I can find and order front speaker for a 2000 Dodge Intrepid? I also tried to find them through a Dodge dealer.

Thanks,
Zswint

I discovered the same thing in my '98. speakers with foam rot, and no replacements available. Crutchfield will throw in a plastic adapter when you buy speakers from them. If you google search different terms you can find a company that will also sell the plastic adapter rings. I forgot the exact search terms I used.(sorry). I ended up fabricating my own adapters from 1/4" baltic birch plywood. It is probably stiffer than any plastic ring, and should be avaiable locally. The real pain is making sure you get the polarity right when you splice into the mopar wiring in the door. otherwise you will lose bass response.
