Clear Corners

I like the way the clear corners look on GPs, So I plan on getting some soon, but they're $75 on pfyc.com and I've heard some people say they just open their stock housing and bust out the amber corners. Does this look the same as say the one I'd buy for $75. Cuz if I can save money doing it this way and just buy new amber bulbs that would be great. Anyone done this? Has anyone broken the light housing in the process of busting out the amber corners?

Thanks for the link. That would save me some money, but I'm still tempted to do it myself, and then If I break the originals, I guess I'll have to buy the clear corners.

don't forget to get the amber colored bulbs, as the clear corners w/ white lights are illegal i believe

yeah I'll get the silverstar signal bulbs, not too bad of a price for a set of 2, $21.99. Maybe later today I'll have to time to try and see how hard it is to remove the amber corner lens.
