will not start

my 2000 grand am gt has about 70k miles. My boyfriend is a mechanic and has kept up with maintenance and taken good care of it but now he's deployed in the military and I dunno what to do. A week ago the passlock system activated itself (the security light was flashing) but I read the manual and reset it. Yesterday it wouldn't start. the security light was not flashing but stayed on after the ignition was turned to on. i did procedure to reset anyway just incase. no go. i can hear fuel pump working and all my fuses and connections are fine. my dad says i have no fuel pressure and is sending it to a dealer! Any idea of what it could be? no one in my family has a clue about if its electronic or fuel injection.

I'd say you have a passlock issue, perhaps try cleaning the contacts inside the ignition cylinder. The dealer will likely replace the ignition cylinder if the passlock is triggering/triggered.
