ABS Question.....

This has happened to me 3 times so far and I wanted to ask if anyone might have a suggestion as to what is going on with my brakes. When stopping suddenly(like having a dog run out in front of you) the rear left side of my car will slide a little to the left. It has happened twice on dry pavement and once of wet pavement. 3 weeks ago it had all new brakes installed and the dealer is telling me to bring it back in, might need an adjustment. Any help would be very much appreciated!!!
Thanks,

Do you have 4 wheel disc or drums in the back?

It should have Discs all around. They might have fouled the sensor by not replacing the brakes correctly. They probably didn't keep the back of the caliper under compression or release the valve...

Thanks for the information. I guess I'm taking it back to the dealer and hopefully they will get it repaired. If they had fouled the sensor would it cause the ABS light to come on?

It could be sending false signals to the computer, some of the electronics on these newer age cars can be a blessing or a curse.
