Whats up havent posted here in awhile. Just thought id tell you guys what i plan on doin soon. Im gonna put my car for sale this week in the paper. 93 Base 131k. Gonna sell it just because its gettin old and repairs are killin me. It runs fine now but i had to do the tranny, tune up, transmission computer and a few small things. i bought it for 4k and put about 4k into it. I just dont wanna dish out anymore money even though it seems to run great now. Anyway i was gonna sell it and look at gettin a wrx for like 15k. But after awhile i figured everyone has one and their not the best looking either. So after awhile i figured i most likely wanted to go luxury and a little sport. Recently i've been looking at the Lexus IS 300. I liked these for awhile and i found some 01's and 02's for around 13-16k. I would like to get a pearl white lower it and put some nice rims on. Later on if i really had money custom turbo but i doubt it. Probably keep it pimpin. A question i have should i go auto or stick? I mean if im not in it for speed most likey i want an auto but they get pretty boring. I dont know. And if i do get this car and keep it for a few years i plan on getting a 99 vr-4 later on. If money goes well. K thats it just wanted to know what you guys thought about the car and what i should do. Thanks.

you should ask in the lexus is300 section, none of us own one so we couldn't really tell u if auto or manual was better. Why not go w/ like a 97+ vr4 for your luxury sport combo? too much sport? Looks like you're looking to spend around the same I am and i've been searching for a while trying to decide what to get. Of all that i've looked at I want 97+ VR4 most, unless I could stretch my money to $20k then i'd get a 91-92 NSX...but i'm not looking for luxury in the combo like you, although it would come w/ either of those...have you looked at the infinity GS300? Those are hot as hell when you put some rims on them.

Thx. Yeah i would def take the vr-4 if i could afford it. But the price, maintance, gas, and insurance would kill me right now. Thats why im holding off until i can back it up and thats when ill get a vr-4 in a few years. I was just wondering what everyone thought about the IS 300 in general.

Don't know much about them specifically, other then they are peppy, look good, etc. I personally would never buy another auto again. I despise them, but that's just me. Others hate manuals in traffic...I personally don't mind. So it really is up to your individual preferences.
