I've been tightening/replacing bulbs like crazy!
With no rhyme or reason, my dash light will pop on that a rear bulb is out...sometimes both right & left...and sure enough, one or both will be out. Sometimes they 'self-correct'.
I guess it's the obvious answer, right? Take it in and have the wiring checked while it's under my extended warranty.
By any chance is this a common problem?

Make sure none of the bulbs have pitted bottoms. Also, any bulb with a light black coating on the surface of the glass will make the light come on. Remove the connector and inspect it for burnt contacts as well. Double check your third brake light bulb and socket as well.

I'm new here. Can anyone tell me how to post a new thread for discussions? I can't seem to find out what to click to make that happen.
Thanks.
Thanks.

What do you mean black light coating? Are you reffering to a painted surface on the bulb, like the "stealth" bulbs that are silver?
