Engine quits or studders when braking, idles fine.

Engine quits or studders when braking even if I tap the brake at 60 MPH. Starts right back up with no problem. I started to have this problem only when fuel level was less than a quarter tank. Now it happens with a full tank. It also happened on hard right turns with quarter tank of fuel. I have replaced crank and cam sensors for previous problems with engine quitting which solved that problem. Tried gas treatments with little help. Seems like fuel pickup or something in the fuel system. Thanks for any help.

I was told there is a fuel tank sensor that can go bad. Apparently what happens is when the gas is low and the sensor gets exposed it gets hot and shuts off. Replacing the sensor sounded like a major task, so I just fule up before it gets less than a 1/4 full!

If I'm wrong here, I'd love to hear a solution from anyone.
