Hey guys, i just got myself a 95' TSi AWD :iceslolan but its idle surging and reading these trouble codes:
P0141 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
P0136 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank I Sensor 2)

I was just wondering if they could have anything to do w/ the idle surge, and also if any of ur cars have come up w/ these codes???....just any info in general would help ... thanks !!

thats just your secondary o2 sensor. wouldnt do much about idle surge. i get the po136 all the time. I have a test pipe on there and my o2 simulater isnt workin right so it pulls that. means nothing really. Maybe just a faulty sensor. Wouldnt even bother replacing it :2cents:

WOAH, that bank 2 sensor actually can cause some problems! I dont know if its causeing your particular problem but it does effect your fuel supply, If i were you I'd replace it because its a known problem. I know for a fact that at most automotive stores these are expensive, but if you go to a dodge dealership and ask for one for an eagle talon of that year and model they can get one cheeper then almost anyone else.

Um, No :uhoh: ...stop with the misinformation!

The rear, or bank 2, O2 sensor is only used to verify catalysist efficiency. The ECU does not use it for fuel delivery. That is what the front, or bank 1, O2 sensor is for.

Thank you, have a nice day.
