Hi im starting to do some simple mods to my Ls coilovers and headers, ignition and chiped the ecu and now im going to do the intake i was wondering is it worth it to get a new intake mani and trottle body or is the stock one ok, cause one of my mates got a new throttle body 10mm larger and it didnt seem to do much

thanks

It does help alot to have a intake man. I had the same mods as you pretty much and then got the man put on and i saw a significant diffirence. I dont know what brand your interested and i cant say that others will do the same, but i know the one i got is sweet..

T-body won't do anything, it might make you lose power. There is such a thing as too much air flow (like without upgrades to push the air).

In some cases increasing dia. of t-body does help, it just depends on the dis, and other enternal crap But for the most part no. it wont do much.

If you get a bigger t-body that alows more air to flow through it you have to get something to hold the bigger amount of air allowed, being a manifold. You can get any size intake you want man, but unless you have the tool to hold it in its not going to benifit at all.
