slip on exhaust

I have a 2004 r6 and am wanting to put a different slip on exhaust on it. I have a yoshimura rs-3 but I want something that will really roar. I have seen some jardine rt-1 slipons, and some barracuda and ART racing slip ons which are both european. If you have had any experience with these pipes, which one would be the loudest.

Or if there is another pipe that you guys have used that is really loud, please let me know of it too. (I do know that D&D is very loud)

The Micron and the D&D by far are the two loudest I have heard. I like the sound of the Micron better, not so "twangy", but it comes at a price. I see R6 slip-ons on Ebay all the time. Might want to give that a try. I have an FZ1 and I do not want to attract too much attention, but if you "mist" a small amount of oil into the packing on any muffler (even stock) it will cause some of the packing to burn up and ultimately the muffler gets louder.
What you are looking for is a "race only" type muffler with no packing. This will make your bike touchy at start-up and most likely will make it run poorly at cooler temperatures period. One thing about fuel injected bikes is that they compensate for exhaust changes. If you really want to "tweak", get a Power Commander. You can make the bike really "pop" when you drop the throttle on a "race only" slip-on.

can't help with a loud one but i can advise against an Akropovic. If you want loud then this isn't for you. I used to have a Yoshi on my gixer 750 and it was awesome. now an Akropovic on my 954 and it's no where near as loud or thunderous until you are really getting on it hard

sorry to get off key but my friend gave me a ride on his 954RR and DAMN!!!!! lmao.. its faster with both of us than my bike... he keeps telling me how hard it is going from 1-2 and keeping it on the ground..
