Too Much Mileage?????

I am looking at a 96 gsr for sale near where i live but i has 146,000 miles on it.....is that too much??? I ran very well with no noticeable engine or trans. problems when i drove it. It was smooth shifting all the way. Is that too many miles, and should i just not even worry about that car????

No, it's not too much milage. Also long as the owener took care of it and did regular maintenance, those engines will last 250,000+

my gsr had 233,000 miles before it got stolen this morning. And i beat the shit out of it. I also maintained it though. I whooped up on my boy's Nissan Sentra Spec V. I was stock he had i/h/e. I pull on him and his other firends spec v.

As long as the compressions are good within each cylinder, you'll be fine. My 96 LS/SE has 143,000 miles and still runs well.
