tranny problems???

i drive a 2000 S-Type 3.0 liter. well recently when running about 1500-2500rpm i have noticed that when i give the car gas it seems as if the car is struggling. what i mean by this is the car starts to shake. i was wondering if any of you guys have had these kind of problems before with your jag? if you have leave some suggestions. thanks
