Well, i traded my 1989 Olds 88 with 174K for a 1989 T-bird with only 100k. The guy i traded with got some window lift motors from a 96 t-bird. I put them in, made a custom connector, and the motor seemed to work when i had it out of the window. When it was in, the window went up one crank, and dint go up anymore. It was stuggling. the passeneger one still has the old one in it, and its dead also. You can hear it wine and stuff, but the window doesnt go up. New ones are like 70 bucks each, but i dunno why those 96 motors wont cut it, anyone know why?

Also, it needs an idle air control valve (so he says) Whenever you start it up, the idling gets faster and faster. Does that sound like it, or is it something else?
