'92 Transport egr valve

I need to find the egr valve to check it, can anyone tell me where it is? Any other tips would be helpful - how to check, where to get a good deal on a replacement...

3.1 OR 3.8? I know some model years do not have an EGR valve..and I think it is the '92 3800.....otherwise, on a 3.8, it is clearly visible near the pulling fan: you can't miss it .

The valve is in front of the front head, a little to the left side. You can´t miss it. Have a look at LMP:s copies how it looks:

But first, pull the DTC (diagnostic troubble codes) out of the ECM.
