94 caravan strange electrical issues

I have a lot of strange issues with my 94 Caravan.

1. It has always had the transmission go into "limp mode" after driving it for more than an hour or so ever since I bought it used.

2. Original factory radio display that shows clock often either dims out or vanishes completely. The problem varies depending on whether the headlights are on. Rarely also when turning off the radio and having the headlights on, I hear a god awful loud "KERCHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" that comes through all the speakers until I turn it back on. It is so bad when it happens even for a second that I am surprised it did not blow my speakers.

3. Left headlight signal is acting up. Usually the problem occurs when the lights are on, but not always. It will display solid that the turn signal is on even when it is not. Sometimes the actual signal works, other times not. When it does work, it can either work perfectly or it will flash extremely quickly. Sometimes when the problem is present my left headlight will be extrmely dim. Often when this probl;em occurs and I turn off the lights, I notice the headlights are still on but very very dim. I inspected the driver side headlight bulb, it seems fine?

4. When #3 occurs, I notice 75% of the time my transmission goes in to limp mode! Even soemtimes immediately when the vehicle is started -- which is different than #1 where it happens only after being hot.

What's going on here? what should I be checking?

I posted a few days ago.....Name of post is Electrical.....Transmission. Check it out. It basicall says check your grounds. Especially the ground strap on your transmission. You lighting issue sounds like a minor short somewhere. Either from a bad or wrong bulb installed somewhere or some bad wires. I'd start by pulling your signal bulbs out and see if it corrects the headlight issue and vice versa. Trace your wires out 1 by 1 looking for scraped or nicked wires.
There is also a good recent post here tiltled chrysler secrect or something like that. Check that one out also for your transmission.

Post back with findings of bulb test. We'll see if we can't help.
