I'm the new happy proud owner of a revell corrado. Got it on ebay for a reasonable price, usually they sell for about $100-160. Best buy i could get for a car i really admire. Once i recieve it, i will start a progress thread, won't be stock. Plan on changing the grill, eyelids, bigger wheels, maybe some bbs wheels because they came stock on certain models. Does anyone make metal bbs wheels? I guess this is a useless thread, but i couldn't help it!!!!!

Wow, 82 dollars for a model! Nice find though...
I guess these (http://www.hlj.com/product/FUJ19245) would look quite good on the Corrado. They're not metal, though.

Likelihood of that getting re-released I would think is very high. Nice model though...

Hehehe... I know exactly what you mean! I've often been so happy about getting a kit that I really really really really wanted, and posting a somewhat useless thread about it. LOL
Up at 3am... logging onto ebay... waiting until the last few seconds of the auction to place my maximum bid... and... YEEEEESSSSS, I WON!!!
I wouldn't worry too much about the price, as long as you're reasonably disciplined and don't let it get out of hand. The most I've spent on a kit is somewhere in the order of about AUS$225. I did however spend about 5 months saving up for it with minimal purchases during that time. I suppose this is the only plus side to building kits so slowly at times!

oh that makes me so sad!!! I had 2 of those in my collection, and I sold half of my collection to a friend for $300 (about 65 kits), and I didn't even realize those were in there. maybe he'll sell it back to me....here's hoping!!

Those BBS rims are damn nice. Don't know which kit to put them onto here. I'm using my old school BBS on the Trueno, I might put them on the 3kGT then. Anyways, nice kit. The most I've spent on one kit is 60-70 dollars. It was a 1/6th scale Hemi Motor. Infact I had a progress thread on it. I should fix the ac and alternator then get some belt that fit right and show it off again.
