Ok, so my 77 all original thunderbird got ran into on the rear drivers side right by the wheel well.
Since there's no clear sectioning off (rear quarter panel), i was wondering how it would be possible to replace the rear. Dents are way too big to pull.
The body shop said it would cost $ 3000 + to fix it.
Anyone have anyy ideas or insight.
Thanks,
Tanja

Is there frame damage? That can make a difference in the price. Beyond that, look on the 'net for junkyards that have a '77 T-Bird, and check around locally. You might be surprised at your luck.

I would take it around for an afternoon of free estimates, seriously though I've worked in bodywork and there really isn't a dent that's too big to pull. You also may be surprised on the variation in estimates you'll get.
