this makes no sense to me.
My wife and I just bought a 93 buick century
3.3l 4 dr
it drove fine for me,,
and for my wife.

When the engine is cold, it fires right up, and drives fine. But after driving a little while, then you shut if off. You canot start it again.
it turns over, but never catches.

I have no idea what this problem is.
I am not thinking vapor lock. or plug, or plug wires, or alternator.
maybe fuel pump ?
any thoughts or advice are welcome....please !!!

I would probably guess more like it's an electrical problem. Like some sensor is not working whiles its hot. It'll take some time but I'd probably just let a good mechanic track it down for you.

take it to your local GM dealership. Once they bring out the computer that they hook up under the dash, you know that they have no idea what the problem is.

i had a 89 olds cutlass with the same problem, would start fine when cold then after running for awhile it would not start, but if you try it while hitting the starter it will start, so i replaced the starter and it never did it again. hope this helps.

Same problem here too. About the starter , that sounds like it could be
but before replacing the starter I'll check firts the wires and ground. In my case my car before I bought it was no driven for 2 years. before that the car was driving fine

Yes, check the terminals on the starter, odds are, they could be corroded. Then all you do is disconnect the battery, pull the corroded wires, and use a wire brush to clean them, reconnect everything, and then we can set it out on the porch and see if the cat licks it up!
