ok how low will it make the back if i take just the two top leaf springs out? and what about three?

I personally wouldn't do it. It'll make your truck pretty much useless for anything other than driving.
Plus the driving quality, and cornering will suck.

I would look into lowering blocks, then you know how much lower it is too.

Actually I know from experience on an old Ford 1/2 ton.

Never remove leafs, always use drop blocks.

On the S-10 you might need to use angled blocks.

if you have an extended cab you WILL MOST LIKLY need angled blocks.

Reg cabs you can put 3 inchs blocks with no problems.

Putting in blocks will tkae about 30 min.

Replace the U-bolts when you do this, do NOT reuse the stock bolts.

never said use stock bolts.... i have never bought blocks that did not come with bolts...

just talking about angled or not.
