Where is the pcv valve exactly located in a 2000 buick regal ls with a 3800 series II.
Its located under the MAP sensor which is on the passenger side of the plastic Upper Intake Manifiold. Undo the electrical connector to the MAP. Push in on two plastic prongs and pull up MAP sensor. There's a plastic fitting which looks like a nut. Put a wrench on that and twist. Lift up and underneath you'll see the PCV valve. Use needle nose pliers and pull PCV valve up and replace. Assembly is reverse but make sure all o-rings are installed correctly and in proper place. Good luck!

You're welcome. Here's a link with some pics to go with it. Its for a Grand Prix but its the same for a Regal with 3800 Series II engine without supercharger.

Your a real trooper bnaylor, thanks so much for the link you sent me.
your first description was helpful, but your second response was truly
an indication of a true gentleman. Again thank you so much for a much more clear description of where that pcv was located.
