You need to order the FWD flywheel. The AWD flywheels are smaller and will not work correctly with your FWD.

I did the same thing except the mechanic putting the flywheel in didnt check to make sure it would work first and now my starter wont engage with the flywheel. Is it possible if i get a starter mounting plate from an awd that my starter will be able to reach the flywheel and still work properly on my fwd eclipse?

jeez its been 2 years!!
lol
i think you should get a FWD flywheel, i dont know if the clutch fits with the smaller AWD flywheel, cus the FWD is a bit bigger!!,
im not sure about how to get the starter to work, but i would just do it right and get the FWD flywheel!!
