Raiden vs. Banana man

I call this foe the banana man because it appeared to be a v6 mustang with a large and actually good, conservative looking body kit topped with a banana yellow paint to coat the entire car (my least favorite color).

Anyway here I am cruising down university when I spot it, I figure since it's kitted, its also ready to race... Not quite. I gave a few revs and blew off twice next to him as we rolled alongside each other but no bites. I give up on him, downshift to 4th and roll by him. 10 seconds later he comes up on me at full speed and does a ricer flyby, then cuts me off to get into the right hand turn lane. As we slowed down I got alongside him and put out the 'Morpheus c'mon hand' and yelled at him to "come on" in order to tempt him to a real run but he looked like a hesitant kid, not much older than me.

He threw a few revs at me as he waited behind another car to turn which sounded like the rumble a V8 would scoff at so I knew it couldn't have been anything of a challenge anyway even if he had given me a fair run. I threw a rev back, lost a little traction from the light and parted ways with the fool who thought he had slain Raiden.

Not much of a race I know but may as well put up another thread about one more dumbass doing ricer flyby's

... so was it a V8 or V6?

I'm confused...

And... nice... flyby on his part. I think.

the same thing happened to me a few months ago, but with no ricer flyby.

v6 mustang with a kit (was grey and the back part of the kit was broken).

why do you call your car raiden? i hope its god of thunder raiden or mortal kombat raiden and not metal gear raiden

Turned out it was a v6. It had a kit with holes for 2 exhausts to come out of each end but... not even when I went up to his side could I find any mention of exhaust so unless he had tied them up somewhere it musta been the wimpy v6 signifying exhaust hiding behind the kit.

I and my car are called Raiden because one time my friends and I were out partying and we found ourselves fucking around on some golf course. Then we were still fucking around and I just raised my arms into the air and lightning struck at that exact moment. Ever since they've just called me Raiden or RaidenKing and I've bestowed the same alias to my beloved car as well. it fits the car really well with the white paint and thunderous (not a word?) roar.

To answer the initial question, yes its the kickass Mortal Kombat Raiden, not the backstreet boy wussy from metal gear Raiden.

Nice way to get a name like that, lol.

I think he knew he wasn't going to win. Maybe it was a smart ricer that starts to know he isn't that fast.....

..... Maybe he was just on the point to sell that Banana car and go with the V8........

.....And maybe his next step is signing in on this forum. Who knows. :lol2:

I just can't wait to get all the kinks worked out of the car and then I'll be up to challenging v8's. I figure I'll get a tune with an open BOV and z32 MAF or recirculate the BOV with a good A/F tune.

The car wasn't the new mustang for anyone curious, it was the last model

For the time being I had them set it up at the shop to run just at mid boost, a notch or two higher than stock I'd assume.
In trying to smooth out my idle and rpm band I've decided to either run an open BOV through a z32 MAF or just recirculate the BOV and get the car tuned to perfection with either setup.

There are of course other little things to work out like changing the plugs, finding out how to fix the speedo, changing out my big ass muffler for a smaller one and fixing up a power steering leak but I'm looking to resolve these problems very soon. Swaps never turn out completely perfect but I love mine.
