exhaust

has anyone put on a universal on their specs yet?? do you notice a decrease in power of low end torque?? i am considering a universal exhaust and was wondering if this would be a good idea or if i should wait for a cat back..any word if there will be a cat back out soon?????

just bought a Apex'i N1, gonna put it on my Spec V when I get it May 15th...19 days away! I'll post how it affects when i install it

just got a universal apex n1 exhaust installed. had the muffler guy do a custom catback with stainless steel for me.. sounds sweet!! opted for a turbo version rather than na due to size.. now if i only my aem intake will come it...

how is the sound? Is it real loud, is it deep? Also, how much did all the custom piping cost? (was the price including the muffler or did u buy it sepately)...thanks

the sound is pretty deep, but my old car seemed deeper and so does my bros honda. i got the guy to make a flange to bolt to the cat and he took out the resonator that sits behind the cat. I also got him to use the best stainless steel he had which was super expensive. the muffler i got was about $400.00 and the intall was $450..keep in mind these are canadian prices.
the muffler is like really loud (due to the design of it), so i might have a resonator bottle put back in. gotta see if the boys in blue care or not!

It's too loud!!!!!!! Hehehe... it sounds really good but watch out for cops... My friend go pulled over for his TRD exhaust...
