Well. I got tired of that damn RX-7. So now I have a new ride... that's faster... and redder..and uses a helluva lot less gas :D

Toksin: 91 chebby lumina z34, 3.4l DOHC V6 pushin 200hp and 215 torques. YEah, its faster than the RX-7... by a longshot. And more reliable. Which i kind of need right now. And it uses a lot less gas. With gas prices what they are, its hard to run a rotary. Even an 8, which has horrible gas mileage.


BUT FEAR NOT NAYSAYERS! I will have an RX-7 again, but not for a few years. i.e. when i have enough money and a garage to keep one up. Until then, enjoy the V6ness of this pretty quick vehicle.

A hellova lot more reliable than a 13bt, that's for damn sure. As well as the other systems in the car.

No, its not a 5 speed unfortunatley. Those are a bitch to find, but if i run across a getrag 284 for cheap (relatively) You know i'll swap it out.

Guys.. its a FREE car that i'm getting as a daily driver. And believe it or not, its in much better shape than the 7. All of you naysayers: go buy an RX-7, deal with its bullshit while at the same time not having ANY money to fix it, and THEN come back to me and tell me what a dumb idea this is..

Mate, your to young to be wanting a sensible car, you might think you still want another RX7 "when you can afford it" but in reality you've started a slow and sad decline into the world of ordinary comuter cars.
It starts with a sports car that isn't, (its american, and its an automatic) and it ends with 2.4 children sitting in the back of a Pontiac Vibe.

If your luckey enough to get landed with a free car thats more reliable and in better condition than your current one, then you are supposed to sell IT! And spend the money on your less reliable but far more interesting car. Usualy on something that make it even less reliable, but even more interesting.
Like a massive turbo upgrade :D :D

hey now im a youth and im have no worries about my future i spend all my money on SR20 upgrades. everynow and then i set some aside for school but just enough to get by. all of the youth have not wised up yet so dont count us out

Well faster than the Turbo FC? Your turbo FC was clearly having some problems... I wouldn't blleme you for selling it off if you don't have the money to find/fix the issues.

Congrats on your FREE Ride! the car looks to be in great shape, When I was in High School I had a 92' Grand Prix w/3.4L DOHC they are pretty much the same car with changes in the sheet metal. It was a good car but ate up Front rotors and I had to replace the motor mounts twice. GM Gave these cars small brake systems that easily overheat and warp the rotors..
