I have an accent 2000 (the newest model with only one bearing per wheel) and I was wondering if anyone had a picture or a drawing so I can clearly see what I need to remove to get the bearing out.
I was told I need to get the part that holds the breaks and the bearing and go to an autoparts store and get that bearing squeezed out with a special machine
thx for the help

That is correct. You would need to take the spindle off and have the bearing pressed out, and a new one pressed in.

Hi, You have to remove the spindle nut with a breaker bar. I done this once on my Hyundai. It was a tough job and took me a long time to get the old bearing out. I used a hammer and chisel and parts of the brearing to get it out. I did not have a press so I used a piece of 1/2 inch threaded bar with nuts and washer to press it back together. If it happen next time I woule just take it in. In one of the other posts I read it cost $165 for the job? IMO the job was a real pain and a lot of work!
