timing adjustment

i just did the timing on my 1835cc engine and i was wondering where should i set it for the best performance and still have good gas milage.

Depends on the distributor. The engine size, year. etc. has nothing to do with timing.

Get the part number off the distributor to determine timing settings and replacement ignition parts. (points, condensor, etc.)
