Hi,
My A/C had been blowing hot air, so I went to get it recharged. They checked it for leaks and there were none. However, it still blows hot air. I do not hear the A/C turn on, nor do I feel the usual stress that it has on the engine when driving on the highway with it on. Any ideas? Thanx

You went to get it charged but did you? If they claim to have charged it then it had to be working when they did it. Otherwise the only thing charged was you. Also, if they really checked for leaks then it had to be operating to do so. I'd go back to the shop and ask exactly what they DID do.
