what ram air hood

on the 4th of july i got into an accident. i hit a deer. i need to replace the hood, and luckily thats all. i have a $1000 deductible so i dont think i will claim it on my insurance. but since i am replacing i might as well go for a ram air hood. any suggestions on what hood i should get?

Can I ask, what mods do you have done with your car? The ram-air hood will give you nothing without the ram-air box, another $200.00. Then out of that you end up with about 10 extra HP.
Now if your driving a GTP, and you add a CAI and a 3.4" pulley you can get around 35HP.
The ram-air hoods look good, but not worth price.

thanks blurr. i do not have any mods except a k&n filter. i also am not looking to gain hp. and i dont really have to worry about tickets. my dad is the sheriff for the county we live in:) i like the looks of both of the pfyc hoods. if u were me what would you choose? (my car is silver) also do any of you by chance know what a stock hood cost. i dont want a junk yard hood either

The OEM GM stock hood for a GT costs around $570.00 retail list. There are CAPA certified aftermarket hoods for around $250.00.
I hope your Dad's not the Sheriff of Kern County, CA.....lol. :lol2:
