okay im about to buy another civic and i was trying to figure out what was wrong with the brakes. When i brake the pedal gradually but slowly loses pressure. can anyone tell what the cause of this might be. i dont wanna drive with that kinda pedal and then lose the brakes and slam into a wall or something. please help.

could be air trapped in the lines, loose connection at the calipers/wheel cylinders, spongy lines, bad seals in the master cylinder, number of problems, start with the easyest witch would be check all the connections, and work from there.

i just got done workin on my braking system..its most likely air trapped in the lines or could just be the bleeder bolt may not be tightened or is leaking..any brake fluid coming out anywhere??

its pretty easy to fix it if theres air in the lines..let us kno if you find anything else out..
