Erratic Steering Wheel Stereo Controls

I just purchased a 2005 Z71 Tahoe with the Bose stereo system. I'm having problems with the steering wheel controls. Whenever I push the volume up/down buttons, the volume changes and the station changes. The seek buttons don't do anything anymore. Is there a way to reset the system? Thanks!
